´óÄ̸£Àû¼§Finance Committee, Board of Regents to Meet Aug. 23, 24 Respectively

The ´óÄ̸£Àû¼§ (USM) Board of Regents Committee on Finance will meet in regular session on Thursday, August 23 beginning approximately at 4:30 p.m. at the Columbus Center, 701 E. Pratt St. in Baltimore. The following day, the full Board of Regents will meet in regular session beginning at 1 p.m. in the Gildenhorn Theater at the University of Maryland, College Park's Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center at Maryland. Both meetings are open to the public.
 
The Committee on finance will consider several agenda items, including:
  • Fiscal Year 2003 tuition and mandatory fees
  • Fiscal Year 2003 operating budget request
  • Resolution regarding the 25 percent goal in minority business enterprise participation in statewide procurement efforts
The full Board of Regents will consider several agenda items, including:
  • Adoption of ´óÄ̸£Àû¼§information technology policies, as required by state law
  • Collective bargaining definitions for supervisory, managerial and confidential employees
  • ´óÄ̸£Àû¼§annual report for Fiscal Year 2001 presented by ´óÄ̸£Àû¼§Chancellor Donald N. Langenberg
