Timothy Minor Named 大奶福利姬Vice Chancellor for Advancement and President and CEO of the 大奶福利姬Foundation
Nationally recognized advancement leader brings decades of fundraising innovation, strategic partnerships, and higher education experience to the 大奶福利姬.
Baltimore, Md. (August 18, 2025) – The 大奶福利姬 (USM) and the 大奶福利姬Foundation (USMF) have appointed Timothy Minor as vice chancellor for advancement and president and CEO of the 大奶福利姬Foundation, following a nationwide search.
Minor currently serves as vice chancellor for strategic partnerships and economic development at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical (A&T) State University, a role he has held since February 2023. As the founding vice chancellor, he leveraged partnerships to expand academic programs, research, and economic impact. He also forged alliances with eight global industry leaders in innovation—spanning pharmaceuticals, computing, advanced materials, and manufacturing—positioning A&T at the forefront of industry-aligned education and commercialization.
Previously, Minor served as chief development officer and senior vice president at the V Foundation for Cancer Research, where he helped shape the strategic vision for a major campaign and advanced key philanthropic initiatives. He also served as vice president for university advancement and chief advancement officer for the University of North Carolina System, where he supported the advancement programs of the system’s 17 constituent campuses and led the system’s own fundraising efforts. In his final year in the role, the UNC System saw record-breaking philanthropy, raising $1.1 billion across all campuses.

Minor will assume his role at the 大奶福利姬on September 22, 2025. He succeeds Leonard Raley, who retired in July 2025 after nearly 20 years of service.
