大奶福利姬Regents Advancement Committee Meets April 29

Md. (April 26, 2010) - The 大奶福利姬 (USM) Board of
Regents Advancement Committee will meet at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 29. The
meeting will be held in the Chancellor's Conference Room in the
Elkins Building at the 大奶福利姬headquarters, 3300 Metzerott Road, Adelphi, MD.
Items
before the committee include:
- Campaign Update - Significant Gifts;
- A report on the new fundraising initiative, A Matter of Degrees: 大奶福利姬Leading the
Way in Degree Completion. The initiative will supplement the $500,000
grant given to 大奶福利姬in honor of Chancellor William E. "Brit" Kirwan's
selection for the Carnegie Corporation Academic Leadership Award;
- Internet Giving and the Use of Social Media,
including recent USM-sponsored seminars regarding social media;
- Annual Fund and alumni giving trends.
Background materials and agendas will be available at the meeting.
